Hotels In Asia Roll Out Custom Stay Packages Targeting Digital Nomads

Sharing is caring!

As digital nomads continue to increase in Asia, hotels are coming up with some creative and affordable longer-term stay packages for nomads with all the great amenities of hotel vacations.

The Extended Workcation

Hotels across Asia are realizing the trend of extended stay workcations and digital nomad needs and are creating new travel programs and packages to accommodate. Best of all, they are also slashing rates, according to a story on the topic in Travel + Leisure, and still including all of the great hotel amenities.

“As remote and hybrid work models come into their own, more professional travelers are mixing business and leisure, and seeking out longer stays,” said the Head of Accor in the Pacific Region and Chief Operating Officer of Premium, Midscale and Economy Brands, Adrian Williams in the article on the topic.

Nomad Deals in Thailand

Melia, Chiang Mai

The article references a hotel in low-cost digital nomad hotspot Thailand, the Melia Chiang Mai, which offers digital nomads rooms at $116, with discounted rates for booking one week or more. This includes access to the hotel’s 21st Floor Level Lounge and meeting spaces.

Book two weeks or more and they will throw in evening snacks and cocktails.

Skip the nightly rate and pay monthly in the beach resort city of Hua Hin at The Standard. While $1950 a month may be a little high for the area, just wait until you hear about the amenities included for nomads at that price.

How about discounts on food, drinks, laundry, green fees at a nearby golf course, spa and additional rooms for friends jealous about the way you are living large in Thailand. By the way, your furry friend is included as The Standard is pet-friendly.

Meanwhile, INNSiDE By Melia Bangkok Sukhumvit opened last year in Bangkok and includes a spacious 32nd Floor co-working area where digital nomads can come together, create a sense of community and collaborate.

That’s if they don’t get distracted by the sweeping views of the Bangkok skyline from the “working space.”

Turning Japanese

Hotel Chinzanso, Tokyo

Just like the famous 80s song by The Vapors, if turning Japanese is more of your digital nomad style, the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo has an option, but it’s pretty pricy starting at about $450 per night.

If you are making bank from your nomad gig and Japan is on your list, it boasts plenty of working spaces and even workcation plans for digital nomads.

Additionally, nomads can save 25 percent if staying two weeks or more. That discount increases to 30 percent for more than 30 days.

What Nomads Need to Know

There are many more options available now for digital nomads wanting to get away to Asia and enjoy some hotel benefits while living the nomad lifestyle.

However, the upgraded digs don’t come cheap and unless you are making some bucks as a nomad, many of these will probably be too steep for most digital nomads.

Even if only to experience the two-week option, it might be worth a look at enjoying a more resort-style digital nomad getaway in Thailand which appears to be reasonably priced for Asia.
